Q: What are we fishing for on a typical guided fishing trip?
A: Lake Trout (also known as mackinaw), rainbow trout, brown trout, kokanee salmon.

Q: Do I need a license?
A: Yes. All guided fishing trip participants must have a valid Colorado fishing license. If you don't have one, we sell them in our store.

Q: Do I need to bring my fishing rod on a guided trip?
A: No. You can if you want to, but your guide provides all fishing equipment, rods, bait and tackle.

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Dress in layers with a waterproof jacket. It may start out cold in the morning, and then warm up quickly. You also want to have sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. Optional: drinks or snacks.

Q: Can I keep what I catch on a guided fishing trip?
A: Yes, within limits. But if you're lucky enough to catch a big lake trout, we'll take pictures and quickly return it to the lake.

Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes. Guides and outfitters are licensed in the state of Colorado. Our license number is 1721.
