Well known as the area's premier destination for lake trout (mackinaw), Lake Granby is Colorado's second largest lake. It's also deep... over 200' near the dam, and fishing here won't disappoint.
Shadow Mountain Reservoir is smaller and shallower. Rainbows and brown trout reign supreme here, but you'll have to watch out for the ospreys that want them as much as you do.
You will experience lake fishing... Colorado style. Colorado's high country is teeming with wildlife, spectacular views around every corner, and visiting one of our lakes is an experience all in its own.
You'll leave from Beacon Landing aboard one of our boats and spend a half day on the lake. Fishing here is more relaxed... just the scenery and quiet solitude is worth the trip.
